Deleting your Proof Panda data

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Proof Panda is a local-first app: everything you add — receipts and photos, warranties, return windows, budgets, Proof Vault documents and attachments, and password vault entries — is stored only on your device. We have no servers and no accounts, so we never hold a copy of your records. This page explains how to delete what's on your device, and how to request deletion of the small amount of purchase data created if you look at, buy or restore Proof Panda Pro.

The short version: open Proof Panda and go to Settings → Clear all data to erase everything stored on your device, instantly and permanently. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its on-device data. If you bought Pro (or opened the Pro screen), email [email protected] to have your purchase record deleted.

1. Delete all on-device data (your receipts, documents, vault, budgets)

This is where all of your actual content lives. To delete it:

2. Request deletion of purchase data (only if you used the Pro screen)

Just opening and using Proof Panda never contacts RevenueCat. The app only connects to it when you open the Pro screen, buy Pro or tap Restore (plus a weekly check for people who bought Pro). Then a small amount of information (an anonymous app-generated user ID, basic device/country info, and the purchase itself if you bought Pro) is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store and RevenueCat to show the price and unlock and restore your upgrade. None of your records are ever included. To have this deleted:
