On your device, and only your device. Proof Panda has no account, no servers, and no cloud — so we can't see, collect, or sell your data. Sensitive documents are encrypted at rest on your phone.

Because nothing lives on a server, your data lives with your device. Proof Panda has a built-in backup so you can export a copy you control and restore it on a new phone. If your device is lost and you have no backup, the data can't be recovered — that's the honest trade-off for true privacy, so we recommend backing up regularly.

Yes. You can export your data to a backup file that you keep wherever you like, and restore it later by importing that file. The backup is locked with four words that only you know, so keep them somewhere safe, away from the file. It's manual and entirely on your terms — nothing is uploaded automatically.

Completely. The whole app works without a connection — even receipt scanning runs on-device. The only thing the app sends is a check with Apple or Google on whether Pro is unlocked (and the purchase itself, if you buy Pro). Your receipts, documents and money details never leave your phone.
